BEACH PATROL
GENERAL RULES
Beach Patrol is an Associated Students reward program approved by passage of the Beach Pride Referendum. The goal is to enhance “Beach Pride’ by providing prizes to the general student body for their continued attendance and support at sporting events or other campus activities. By submitting an entry, you become an active “Beach Patrol” member and fully agree to accept all official rules. Beach Patrol makes every effort to provide students the best possible experience at California State University, Long Beach.
1. All employees, full and part-time, or student representatives of Associated Students (ASI) are ineligible to redeem points for prizes. 2. All employees, full and part-time or student representatives of Sports/Athletics/Recreation (SAR) are ineligible to redeem points for prizes. 3. Total points are redeemable for one prize only 4. All information provided to Beach Patrol is secure and will not be disclosed or shared with any internal or external entity. 5. Prizes are open to all currently enrolled CSULB students with a valid ID sticker. 6. No purchase is necessary to win any prizes. 7. You are not allowed to enter for anyone but yourself. 8. Incorrect information provided to Beach Patrol during the registration process or on sign-up card may affect your eligibility to win the prize, if we cannot reach you in a timely manner during the awarding process. 9. Beach Patrol will make every effort to reach the selected winners by phone, and email in order to announce the award notifications. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to notify Beach Patrol of their change in email or phone number. All decisions are final and binding. 10. If the award recipient does not respond to the award notification in a timely manner, he/she may become ineligible to receive the awards and an alternate winner may be selected. 11. A list of the award recipients will be posted on the website (beachpride.com) as soon as they have been verified to be eligible. 12. Beach Patrol is not responsible for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, lost of destroyed. 13. None of the prizes won can be exchanged for cash. 14. Beach Patrol assumes no responsibility or liability for damages, losses or injury resulting from the acceptance or use of any prize. 15. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission to use winner’s name and likeliness for promotional purposes without compensation or permission. 16. Beach Patrol reserves the right to make modifications to the rules to best meet the student’s interest and those of Beach Patrol. 17.
